I was able to control the device by IR from my Harmony remote.
First it allowed me to update the firmware to the latest. I searched the website and struggled my way and found an. It would have been good if the site was referenced on a slip of paper in the box it came in. NO INSTRUCTIONS In Box: Opening the box first discovery is that there are no instructions. The FLIRC seemed like a good inexpensive solution vs what Harmony suggested which was to by their $250 hub that would provide the BT interface. I discovered when I tried to used my Harmony 665 with it that it does not use IR for its control but used Bluetooth. Works I wanted to use the FLIRC to provide infrared remote control for a NVIDIA Shield. Electronic Dictionaries, Thesauri & Translators.
